The Bill (Reg. No.2046) supplements the Family Code of Ukraine with the regulations, pursuant to which, "the persons who were convicted for the crimes against life and health of a person, against will, honour and dignity of a person, person´s sexual freedom and sexual inviolability, against morality, in the field of turnover of drugs, psychotropic substances or precursors, or have unsettled conviction for other crimes can not become adopters".
The amendments to the Criminal Code enhance Article 169 that establishes criminal responsibility for illegal actions concerning adoption.
A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 2046.
