The issue of quality education is a topical matter to be settled. Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made the above-mentioned statement, meeting the students and the faculty of Zaporizhzhia National University.
"If we do not provide quality education in Ukraine, the country will have no prospects", - he stated.
V.Lytvyn deems necessary to raise financing of the higher education establishments, reduce the load of the lecturers and the quantity of students in groups, as more attention should be devoted to the individual training of students.
V.Lytvyn deems inadmissible to destroy the current system of education that provides the students of higher education establishments with fundamental knowledge.
In his speech, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dwelled upon the issues of quality education, global economic and social processes. According to V.Lytvyn, "we should exert every effort to make Ukraine a regional leader".
V.Lytvyn is convinced that public health and education should be priority matters of the budget policy. "The issues of rural area also of priority", - he added.
