ON THURSDAY THE 21ST OF MAY THE PLENARY MEETINGS OF THE FOURTH SESSION OF THE VERKHOVNA RADA OF UKRAINE OF THE SIXTH CONVOCATION WERE HELD
Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the beginning of the morning meeting has greeted the Ukrainian people with the victory of the "Shakhtar" football team in UEFA Cup.
The chairman has informed on the results of the work of the Verkhovna Rada on the plenary meeting on the 20th of May.
After the second scrutiny of the Law "On Amendments to certain Legal Acts of Ukraine concerning the Paying off the Debts before the Pension Fund of Ukraine and Strengthening of the Liability for the Law Violation in the Sphere" with the motions of President of Ukraine, the People´s Deputies overcome the President´s of Ukraine veto (396 votes).
On more Law with the President´s of Ukraine Motions "On State Assistance and Stimulation of the Development and Consuming of Mineral Manures in Ukraine" was rejected.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the Resolution on the Recommendations of the Parliamentary Hearings on: Modern State and Actual Tasks of the Chornobyl Disaster Overcoming".
The Bills of the Resolution were rejected: on amendments to the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the 5th of June 1996 №226/96 BP "On Implementation of the Nominal Grants of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Students of the Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine".
The People´s Deputies have scrutinized the Bills in the second reading as a result of scrutiny the following Laws were adopted in its entirety: "On Amendments to the Law "On State Awards of Ukraine"; "On Amendments to the Law "On Economic Enterprises"; "On Amendments to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Violations"; "On Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine".
For the further elaboration the following Bills were directed: on wholesale markets of agricultural goods, on building norms etc.
