During the meeting of the Committee it was emphasized that the principles of the Bill (Reg.№4059) are aimed at the increase of the effectiveness pf the consumers´ rights protection and strengthening of the liability for the violation of the consumers´ rights. In particular the increase of the penalties for the violation of the consumers´ rights are presupposed as well as the implementation of the liability for the sale of the goods of insufficient quality, unfair economic practice and the servicing of the consumers´ goods.
The People´s Deputies stressed that pursuant to the Bill, the consumer has a rights to stay on the whole territory of the commercial center with the personal belongings. It is forbidden to force the consumers to leave the belongings in the special places and prevent the easy move of the consumers with their personal belongings through the shops etc.
