Within the scope of the training, the heads and experts of structural units of regional executive offices in charge of citizens´ appeals had a possibility to discuss a number of issues concerning administrative activity, share their experience, and obtain responses to the questions raised from the experts of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate.
The trainees called for introduction of amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine regarding enhancement of the local self-government system, to the Laws "On the Local Self-Government in Ukraine" and "On Service at the Local Self-Government Bodies". The also called for drafting a new version of the Law "On Election of Deputies of The Verkhovna Rada of the Crimean Autonomous Republic, Local Councils and Village, Settlement, City Mayors", introducing a majority system of local elections.
Representatives of the region surveyed the work of the Citizens´ Appeals Office.
