The Bill (Reg. No.2365) introduces amendments to the Laws "On Nuclear Energy Use and Nuclear Safety", "On Physical Protection of Nuclear Installations, Nuclear Materials, Nuclear Waste, and other Sources of Ionizing Emission". The amendments define the concepts of physical protection, its regime, a nuclear installation, diversion; determine the tasks and subjects of State physical protection system, etc.

However, the experts deem necessary to specify the regulation, pursuant to which, a specially authorized central executive body in charge of State regulation of physical protection of nuclear material is independent of the public authority bodies and other subjects.
