On 9 May, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, will participate in the festive occasion dedicated to the Victory Day at Lutizh springboard in Kyiv region.
V.Lytvyn will lay flowers to "The Eternal Flame" near the memorial plate "To the Heroes of Lutizh Springboard", to the plate to the fellow villagers perished in the time of repressions and Holodomor and to the Monument to the Warrior-Liberator in the National Culture Preserve "Battle of Kyiv in 1943".
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will deliver a speech before the participants of the rally on the occasion of the Victory Day, take part in the holiday concert and speak with the veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
In the morning, the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will participate in the national events dedicated to the Victory Day, esp. in the ceremony of laying flowers to the Grave of the Unknown Soldier in Kyiv.
