The Bill (Reg. №4189) suggested by the People´s Deputy, V. Moisyk envisages the amendments to the Criminal-Procedural Code of Ukraine, indicating that "custodial placement would take place only concerning the persons that are suspected in commitment of the crime of treason".
The Bill also envisages the new revision of the article 154-1 of Criminal-Procedural Code of Ukraine and article 156-1 according to which the special rules of the preventive restriction use should be implemented in form of the custody of the people under the 18 years.
The People´s Deputy, V. Moisyk explained that the adoption of the Bill is essential as the Criminal-Procedural Code of Ukraine should be coordinated with the international norms and it would also decrease the expenses of the Budget on the maintenance of the imprisoned.
The Committee upholds the Bill. According to the People´s Deputies "adoption of the suggested amendments will facilitate the improvement of the juridical status of Ukraine ad implementation by the bodies of criminal justice such type of the preventive restriction as bail".
