The First Meeting of the Deputies Group on Interparliamentary Connection with Romania was held in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

During the discussion the organizational moments, directions in cooperation were discussed; the working plan was adopted for the year 2009. Among the main priorities are transfrontier, interparliamentary and international cooperation and the development of the cooperation in humanitarian spheres.

The Chairman of the Group, Borys Tarasiuk declared that on the plan of the group work the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs and Ministry on International Affairs would be informed.
