Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine hopes that the Constitutional Court of Ukraine will clarify the Issue on the Date of the President´s Elections
He is convinced that the elections should be held on the 17th of January 2010. According to the Constitution the elections should be held on the last Sunday of the last month of the fifth year of the President´s Authority.
V. Lytvyn announced that in the elections being held on the 25th of October 2009, the chief candidates for the post are interested, "as the perfectly appreciate that the rating is sure to fall down hence it should be fixed".
