The State Purpose Program on the Informing of the Publicity on European Integration of Ukraine during the Year 2008 is adopted by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. State Employers of the Program are State Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine, Central Bodies of Executive Power, Council of Ministers of Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Regional, Kyiv and Sevastopol State Administrations. The Program consists of 5 tasks and 56 measures aimed at the formation of the European orientated majority in Ukrainian society.
The major tasks of the program are rising of the knowledge on publicity on the priorities, state of implementation of the current tasks, perspectives of the implementation of the state policy aimed at the European Integration etc.
The Members of the committee expressed number of remarks to the implementation of the State Program. B. Tarasiuk stressed that "we have serious problems with the issues on the formation of the state program", emphasizing that the authorities do not implement it functions and tasks.
It is recommended that the Cabinet of Ministers should finance the Program for the year 2009 in time in order to in time holding of tender and contest programs.
The Cabinet of Ministers should also point out the attention on the fact that a lot of executive bodies have the not working pages concerning the European Integration on their web sites.
The Committee recommends that the State Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting improve the methodology of the Program implantation monitoring and facilitate the dissemination of the information on European Integration.
The People´s Deputies recommend that the Cabinet of Ministers and regional executive bodies facilitate working of the centers on European information.
National Television Company of Ukraine, the winner of the tender on opening of the correspondent centre in Brussels, should more actively elucidate the activity of European Institutions.
