The Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government recommends that the Parliament rejects the Bill on Amendments and Supplements to the Law "On Local State Administrations" (re Regulation of Land Relations)

The Bill (Reg. No.1288) supplements Article 21 of the effective Law with a new paragraph, pursuant to which a local State administration "shall administrate land in public ownership within the scope determined by the Law".

However, the Committee members ascertained that regulations of the Bill were identical with regulations of Article 21 of the effective Law "On Local State Administrations" in the version of the Law of 11.12.2003 №1377-IV "On Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine in view of Adoption of a new Version of the Land Code".

Hence, the People´s Deputies deem unnecessary to scrutinize the Bill, as the said issues had already been regulated by effective legislation.
