The People´s Deputies, Members of the Government, Representatives of the President of Ukraine Secretariat, Prosecuting Magistracy, Security service of Ukraine, agrarian Scientists and Bodies of the Fishing Industry form the regions took part in the meeting.
The chairman of the Committee, Mykola Prysiazhniuk declared that the hearings are initiated by for the implementation of the Committee resolution form the 3rd of June 2009. He announced that the Chairman of the State Committee on Fishing Industry was substituted. Moreover, the Government has adopted the two Resolutions that satisfy the List of the Kinds of Activity.
M. Prysiazhniuk emphasized that the Leaders of the Derzhkomrybgosp for this have not elaborated the conception of the developments of the fishing industry. The corresponding amendments to the Law "On State Program on the Development of the Fishing Industry in Ukraine for the Period until 2010" and the Bill of the Law "On Fishing Organizations and Industrial Fishing" were not supplied for the scrutinizing in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
It was mentioned during the hearings that the efficiency of the fishing ponds is decreased, the genetic potential is being lost etc. The members of the committee deem that the Chairmen of the Derzhkomrybgosp ruin the infrastructure of the Fishing Industry in Ukraine.
M. Prysiazhniuk announced that on the leading post of this company are nominated people that were previously fired because of the corruption and lack of professionalism.
The members of the hearings stressed the critical situation in this field. That is why the participants suggest that in order to avoid the worsening of the critical situation in the sphere, the Conception on Development of the Sphere should be elaborated as soon as possible and renovate the regional supervision for the managing in the sphere is highly advisable.
