The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine in view of Adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On the State System of Biological Safety by Creation, Probation, Transportation and Use of Genetically Modified Organisms"

The Law specifies the competence of specially authorized public administration bodies in charge of environmental protection and use of natural resources concerning biological and genetic safety.

A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 2436.
