The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Ratification of the Amendment to Article 22 of the Constitution of the Crimean Autonomous Republic (re Period of Authorities of The Verkhovna Rada of the Crimean Autonomous Republic)

Pursuant to the Law, "the period of authorities of The Verkhovna Rada of the Crimean Autonomous Republic totals five years". The Law comes into force since the day of its publication and shall be applied since the day the regular elections to The Verkhovna Rada of the Crimean Autonomous Republic in year 2010 are appointed.

A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 3653.
