Mykola Tomenko: the Informational Project "Gogol and Ukraine" has started in our Country
On Monday, the Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has presented the informational-cultural project "Gogol and Ukraine".
The project envisages the acquaintance with the M. Gogol works in the sphere of Ukrainian history and culture. M. Tomenko, the initiator of the project informed that in the 7 cities of Ukraine the social advertisements will be introduced (Kyiv, Poltava, Nizhyn etc).
He also announced that the National radio Broadcasting Company together with the fund "Fair Country" leaded by him would be broadcasting the extracts from Gogol works.
"It is very important to stress that Mykola Gogol in the first half of the XIX century has formed in Russian language in Petersburg the so-called romantic and pathetic national myth about Ukrainian People", - Mykola Tomenko emphasized.
