On Wednesday, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, met William Taylor, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to Ukraine, at his request.

The Parties discussed a wide range of issues concerning current political, economical and social conditions in Ukraine and activity of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine regarding anti-recessionary measures. The interlocutors dwelled upon the boosting of Ukraine´s cooperation with the international financial institutions under the conditions of global economic and financial crisis. They discussed the measures of legislative character to be taken in order to enhance investment attraction of Ukrainian economy for international capital.
