The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is currently elaborating the Electoral Code, - V.Lytvyn

On Monday, within the scope of the working visit to Cherkasy region, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stated that The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was currently elaborating the Electoral Code in order to adopt a single unified document to regulate the process of elections.

According to V.Lytvyn, the document is being elaborated by a working group and undergoes an examination by the representatives of the Venetian commission, so that it complies with European legislation.
