The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On the National Program "National Action Plan on Implementation of the UN Convention on Children's Rights" for the Period till 2016"

The Program aims at "provision of proper functioning of the integral system of children´s rights protection in Ukraine in accordance with the requirements of the UN Convention on Children´s Rights and with due account taken of the goals of development presupposed by the UN Millennium Declaration, strategy of the Conclusions of the UN Assembly Special Session on Children "A World fit for Children".

A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 2564.
