The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to the Law "On Social and Legal Security of Military Servicemen and their Family Members" (re Resubordination and Restructuring of Military Medical Establishments)

The Law prohibits the change of subordination of military medical establishments on public health, sanatorium-and-spa treatment, and recreation of military medical subunits under the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry in charge of Emergency Situations and Protection of Population from the Consequences of Chornobyl Disaster, Security Service, State Border Service, and other military units and law enforcement bodies established in accordance with Ukrainian laws.
