The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill "On Amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine (re Responsibility for the Crimes committed for the Reasons of Racial, National or Religious Intolerance)" as a Basis

The Bill (Reg. No.2281-1) was elaborated "to enhance criminal responsibility for the crimes committed for the reasons of racial, national or religious intolerance". Thus, it supplements Articles 115, 121, 122, 126, 127, 129, 300 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with new parts (paragraphs) that define responsibility for the committal of the said crimes.
