The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill "On Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine in view of Ratification of the Amendment to the Convention on Physical Protection of Nuclear Material" as a Basis

The Bill (Reg. No.2365) introduces amendments to the Laws "On Nuclear Energy Use and Nuclear Safety", "On Physical Protection of Nuclear Installations, Nuclear Materials, Nuclear Waste, and other Sources of Ionizing Emission". The amendments define the concepts of physical protection, its regime, a nuclear installation, diversion; determine the tasks and subjects of State physical protection system.
