The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a Basis the Bill "On Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine" (re Enhancement of Responsibility for Violation of Graves and other Places of Burial)

The Bill (Reg. No.2160) enhances criminal responsibility for the crime envisaged by Article 297 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, supplementing the article with "qualified and extra qualified constituents of the crime". The Bill clearly defines the concept "violation of a grave, other place of burial or a body".
