The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a Basis the Bill "On Amendments to the Law "On State Regulation of Production and Turnover of Ethyl, Cognac and Fruit Spirit, Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco Goods" (re Restriction of Consumption and Sale of Low-Alcoholic Beverages)

The Bill (Reg. No.1171) defines the concept "low-alcoholic beverages", prohibits their consumption in public transport, at the territories of children playgrounds, at the educational and public health establishments, and other institutions. The Bill also restricts the places of their sale.
