In particular the Committee scrutinized the Billon the Concept of the state language policy in Ukraine (Reg.№3220), realization of which "will create premises for the formation of the system of principles of the state policy in the language sphere in correspondence to the modern world and european experience".
As the Committee stipulated, directly to the subject of regulation of the committee belongs European Charter on Regional languages or Minorities of year 1995. The suggested Bill, according to the people´s Deputies does not contradict with the principles of the documents and obligations of Ukraine before the European Council.
The Committee has also scrutinized the Bill on Amendments to the Water Code of Ukraine (re the division of the charge for the special water use (Reg.№3537). The bill envisages the passing of the 50% of the charge for the use of the water by the water objects to State Budget of Ukraine and other 50% - to the Regional Budgets.
The members of the Committee deem that the Bill does not contradict with the System of Laws of EU.
