V. Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasizes the Importance of Introduction in the Parliament of the Coordinated by the President of Ukraine and the Government the Bill on Amendments to the State Budget for the Current Year.
V. Lytvyn during the meeting with Max Alier, the Constant Representative of IMF in Ukraine on Wednesday mentioned that Ukraine might scrutinize the document together with the local governing bodies.
V. Lytvyn expressed worry that the Budget is considered to be "as an instrument for the political scores".
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada declared that the order should be following: "introduce coordinated amendments to the Budget Code, investigate, what laws are necessary for the amendments to its income part and at the same time work out the amendments to the Budget, analyzing its being realistic"
At his turn, M. Alier mentioned that "we are fully devoted to the task of the help to Ukraine during these difficult times".
