The Bill (Reg.№1267) envisages the administrative liability for the illegal sowing or growing of the opium poppy or hemp. It is also suggested that the maximum penalty from 88 to 100 tax-exempt minimums.
The Bill envisages the criminal liability for the illegal sowing or growing from 500 plants of opium poppy or hemp and exclusion sanction the penalty for it as an alternative kind of penalty.
The Committee upholds the Bill, adoption of which, the People´s Deputies let avoid the discordance in the current law during the qualifying of the actions for the violations.
