The Bill (Reg. No.3506) determines basic orientations of governmental migration policy, defines the ways and methods of settlement of problematic issues in the field of migration, tasks and measures to be taken by the public authority bodies to regulate migration processes, the sources of funding governmental migration policy.
The Committee members believe that adoption of the Bill "will coordinate activity of the governmental bodies in compliance with the conceptual document adopted by The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine that envisages systematic and coherent realization of governmental migration policy on the grounds of common principles, strategic aims, tasks and standards on realization of human rights and liberties".
