Information concerning results of plenary work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for the period of 17-20 February 2009.
For the period of 17-20 February 2009, The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine held 6 plenary meetings, having scrutinized 72 issues of the agenda.
Due to the results of scrutiny:
- 25 Laws and 57 Resolutions were adopted (including 12 Laws concerning ratification of international agreements);
- 15 Bills were adopted as a basis;
- 3 Bills were forwarded for the repeated First Reading to the Committee;
- 1 Bill was returned for further elaboration to the Committee with further submission for the repeated Second Reading;
- 21 Bills and 5 Draft Resolutions were rejected.
101 Deputy inquiries were sent.
