The Parliamentary Group of Friendship of the National Assembly of France will visit Ukraine on 22-27 February 2009. It was reported at the meeting of Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, with Jacques Faure, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Ukraine.
In the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador delivered the letter from the President of the National Assembly of France to the Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with a request to host the members of the group of friendship arriving in Ukraine. Jacques Faure also stressed the willingness of the French Party to boost the inter-parliamentary relations between the countries.
