On Thursday, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, entrusted the profile Parliamentary Committees to elaborate guidelines concerning amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Tax to be paid by the Owners of Vehicles and other Self-Propelled Machines and Mechanisms".
V.Lytvyn adopted the said resolution on the grounds of appeal submitted by the activists of the All-Ukrainian Protest Action against the increase of transport duty and taxes.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also gave a commission to prepare relevant letters to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with a request to scrutinize the said appeal.
