The Bill (Reg. No.2564) envisages ratification of the National Program concerning Implementation of the UN Convention on Children's Rights in order to secure proper functioning of the integral system of legal and social protection of the rising generation in Ukraine.
According to the Committee members, the People´s Deputies introduced 29 amendments during the elaboration of the Bill for the Second Reading.
Pursuant to the Bill, within three months, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine should elaborate and ratify actions aimed at the realization of the Program.
The Committee members believe that adoption of the Bill will render a possibility to settle the problems of childhood, prevent unsystematic actions of different departments and secure effective monitoring of the efficiency of actions taken.
