V.Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, believes that the proposal concerning dismissal of O.Yefremov from the post of a Head of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Rules of Parliamentary Procedure, Ethics and Support to Work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine fails to comply with the Standing Orders of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
V.Lytvyn made the above-mentioned statement, answering the journalists´ questions in the course of events in Fastiv dedicated to the 20th anniversary of withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.
He believes that the proposals concerning dismissal of O.Yefremov and O.Lavrynovych, First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, are supposed "to frighten off one another". "The country loses its conscience from such actions, but its leaders feel well", - he added. V.Lytvyn recommended that the initiators of the proposals studied regulations of the Standing Orders concerning the said matters, as "they clearly determine in what cases the issue concerning dismissal of a Head of the Committee on Rules of Parliamentary Procedure can be raised".
