Mykola Tomenko: the Great Name of Hryhoriy Skovoroda still helps his Motherland.
Today Mykola Tomenko, Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stayed with a working visit in Chornukhynsky district of Poltava region. He visited the opening of a reconstructed nursery school in the village Kharisky, where he greeted the children with New Year and Christmas holidays and presented sweet gifts to them.
Mykola Tomenko also visited a rest home in Chornukhy. The nursery school and the rest home were reconstructed on the initiative of Mykola Tomenko due to the project of the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund.
Mykola Tomenko visited the Literary-Memorial Museum of Hryhoriy Skovoroda in Chornukhy and stated: "We witness how the great name of a prominent Ukrainian philosopher Hryhoriy Skovoroda still helps his native region, as the funds for the socio-humanitarian sector of the region were attracted due to his name".
