On Tuesday, Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, met the participants of the protest actions organized by the trade unions, including the Federation of the Trade Unions of Ukraine.
The participants of the meeting discussed socio-economic situation in the country, possible ways of overcoming the financial and economic recess. The participants stressed the importance of securing stable operation of enterprises and impossibility of the growth of unemployment, as well as reduction of wages.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deems necessary to supply the people with heat, safety, means of livelihood, and medical services. "It is necessary to adopt the State Budget for the next year, and clarify political relations only afterwards", - he stated.
V.Lytvyn informed about his intention to address the leaders of the Factions and parliamentary Committees with a request to elaborate their proposals concerning overcoming of the financial and economic recess.
