The Bill (Reg. No. 3245) authorizes the central executive body in charge of State administration of the system of rehabilitation of the disabled, instead of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, to adopt resolutions concerning foundation of a public rehabilitation institution. Moreover, the Bill establishes a single procedure of rendering rehabilitation services to the disabled adults and children by rehabilitation institutions in both public, and non-public ownership. The Bill also authorizes the Government to ratify decrees concerning the State register of rehabilitation institutions.
The Committee members upheld the motion concerning improvement of the system of rehabilitation of the disabled in Ukraine, though a number of remarks had been expressed.
