According to the Declaration, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine " appreciates the achievements regarding the entering into a contract between Ukraine and EU on the dialogue on the implementation of the visa-free regime between Ukraine and EU".
Moreover, "the support on the part of EU of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of frontiers of Ukraine were highly appreciated".
It was also stressed on the meeting that Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine asks EU to formalize the introduction of the direct perspectives to Ukraine regarding the membership in EU; provide the support to Ukraine regarding the implemented policy in the spheres of the security, social-economy, and legislative reforms? that Ukraine needs for the implementation of the aims of the Treaty on Association between Ukraine and EU; the full implementation of resolution between Ukraine and EU on simplification of visas granting from the 18th of June 2007 by all the countries members of EU; intensify the negotiations on the formation of deepened and strengthened of the free trade zone between Ukraine and EU etc.
The Peoples Deputies stressed that according to the Declaration Ukrainian Parliament confirms the preparedness to "fully provide the legislative support of the process of the Treaty on the Association of Ukraine and EU realization in Ukraine"
