"Consultations concerning election of a Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine have not been concluded yet", - stated Oleksandr Lavrynovych, First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, opening the morning meeting of the Parliament on 4 December.

 

Then O.Lavrynovych informed about the actual situation concerning scrutiny of 26 anti-recessionary Bills registered at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. "Only 3 anti-recessionary Bills have been prepared for scrutiny at the Parliament. 12 Bills are being prepared for consideration, and the Committees are going to scrutinize 11 more today and tomorrow", - explained the First Vice-Chairman and summarized: "This is the actual situation".

 

The First Vice-Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine addressed all the Chairmen of the Committees and Parliamentary Factions with a request to organize effective work of the parliamentary Committees, so that the People´s Deputies could receive well-prepared Bills liable to consideration and adoption in due time. 

 

O.Lavrynovych also informed about a number of motions introduced by the leaders of Deputy Factions within the scope of the morning council.

 

According to the first motion, the plenary meeting on 4 December should start with the reports of the Factions´ representatives.

 

The second motion appertained to holding of the special plenary meeting on Tuesday, 9 December, in order to discuss the situation in the country, the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine being invited.

 

According to the third motion, on 4-5 December, the People´s Deputies will work in the Committees on Thursday and Friday, and hold plenary meeting on the next week.

 

The People´s Deputies upheld the second and the third motions.
