During the meeting, the Parties discussed further cooperation between Ukrainian and Iraqi parliament members.
Thus, the Parties deem necessary to extend inter-parliamentary cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Iraq. They discussed prospects of further exchange of delegations of parliamentary friendship groups Ukraine-Iraq and Iraq-Ukraine. The Parties stated that "it is parliamentary area of cooperation that will facilitate development of Ukrainian-Iraqi relations in other fields". Furthermore, the Parties deem necessary to extend cooperation between the two countries in the trade and economic and other fields.
The Parties discussed the results of the working visit of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine delegation headed by Oleh Bilorus, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, to the Republic of Iraq.
