Oleh Bilorus, Chairman of The Committee on Foreign Affairs, met Merab Antadze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Ukraine

The meeting was held at the request of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Ukraine. He informed O.Bilorus about the current situation in South Ossetia and Abkhazia, commented on the positions of certain Russian politicians concerning prospects of Georgia´s accession to the NATO.

Merab Antadze stressed that in such a situation Georgia would appreciate support of the world community.

Furthermore, the Parties discussed the prospects of Ukraine and Georgia´s accession to the NATO Membership Action Plan.
