The Committee on Culture and Spirituality recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Charity and Charitable Organizations" as a Basis

The Bill (Reg. No.2571) defines basic principles of patronage and charity, and legal regulation of social relations aimed at their development.

The Bill introduces amendments to the legislation that bear substantial influence on the State budget revenue. Thus, according to the calculations of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, "annual losses of the budget will total approximately 70 407,2 million UAH."

According to the Committee, in spite of certain discrepancies, regulations of the Bill (especially reduction of tax load imposed on the benefactors) envisage amendments that will enhance charity in Ukraine.
