Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No.3141), the rates of import duty on polyvinylchloride are reduced from 6,5% to 0%. The Committee believes that a zero rate of import duty on polyvinylchloride will supply the national manufacturers of cable elastron with cheap raw materials that are not produced in Ukraine, which will stimulate growth of production.
The Bill also envisages a zero rate of import duty on wheeled tractors, semi-trailers refrigerators and semi-trailers container carriers. The Committee members believe that it will render a possibility to update Ukrainian vehicle fleet with vehicles that comply with standards "Euro-3", "Euro-4", and "Euro-5".
