The Bill (Reg. No.3245) enhances legislation appertaining to the rehabilitation of the disabled. Thus, it unifies public administration of the system of rehabilitation of the disabled, as well as the procedure of rendering services to the disabled adults and children by the rehabilitation institutions in different forms of ownership and departmental subordination.
Thus, the Committee members stressed that the Bill authorized the central executive body in charge of public administration of the system of rehabilitation of the disabled to establish public rehabilitation institutions for the disabled. The Bill also authorizes the Cabinet of Ministers to ratify the Decree on the State Register of Rehabilitation Institutions.
