Committee on European Integration recommends that the Parliament ratifies the Extra Protocol to Memorandum on the Mutual understanding between the Government of Ukraine and NATO on the Formation of the NATO Informational and Documentation Center in Ukraine

It was declared on the meeting of the Committee that the Extra Protocol to Memorandum that is recommended by the bill (Reg.№0101) to be adopted, presupposes that "the legal position of the Center its immunities and privileges will be determined by the special document that is scrutinized as a special part of the Memorandum"ю

According to the Extra Protocol, NATO Information and Document Center will be authorized to use all the privileges and immunities that "that are given to "diplomatic mission that have the accreditation in Ukraine according to Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relation in 1961".

The People´s Deputies deem that the ratification of the Extra Protocol will facilitate the increase of the cooperation between Ukraine and NATO.
