The People´s Deputies, representatives of National academy of Science of Ukraine and academies of certain fields, representatives of Ministry of Science ad Education, trade unions etc took part
Volodymyr Polochalo stressed that "the solution of the scientific and educational problems can unite different political powers nowadays, because in the course of the world crisis the development of given branches is one of the most important".
The participants of the "round table" deem that the attention should be stressed on the stimulation and development of the scientific activity in High School. Only 2/3 of Universities deal with the scientific activity.
The attention was also driven to the development of techno parks, as their activity facilitates the formation pf new working places. It was also suggested to create strong, competitive universities with the high level of autonomy.
Moreover, the participants stressed on the problem of the education quality and in particular of the textbooks.
