The Meeting of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Arseniy Yatseniuk with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Macedonia, Antonio Miloshosky. At the beginning of the meeting the Chairman of the Macedonian foreign policy department has returned thanks for the reception in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. He declared that the development of the bilateral relations between Ukraine and Republic of Macedonia are positive and are built on the basis of the mutual tolerance and trust.
"The Republic of Macedonia has the great sympathy for Ukraine. We are thankful for your support on the international level. I deem that the bilateral relations between our countries will have further development and after the visit of your President, V. Yushchenko into Macedonia in the December of the current year they will enter new level", - stressed A. Miloshosky.
According to A. Miloshosky, Macedonia is expecting the deepening of cooperation with Ukraine in trade, economic, defense and cultural spheres. In particular, Macedonian part is interested in Ukrainian investments and activation of cooperation in business spheres of both countries. Also, the Chairman of the Macedonian foreign policy department has informed the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine that during the visit of V. Yushchenko, the President of Ukraine, in the central park of Skopje, on the opposite site of the Macedonian National Parliament, the bust of Taras Shevchenko will be opened. It will facilitate the popularization of Ukrainian culture among the Macedonian population. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has returned thanks, in his turn, for the support in the realization of the project.
The issue on the situation in Ukrainian Parliament was also touched upon in the course of the conversation. A. Yatseniuk, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, declared that the most important task is to adopt the anti-recessionary laws.
