The Committee on Family Matters, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism recommends that the Parliament rejects the Bill "On Amendments to the Law "On Tourism" (re Language)

The Bill (Reg.No.2559) regulates the procedure of using languages by rendering tourist-excursion services.

The Committee members stated that the issue concerning peculiarities of language use in the field of tourism fails to belong to the subject of regulation of the legislation on tourism, and is not to be further specified in the Law "On Tourism".

The People´s Deputies believe that the issue concerning use of languages should be regulated by a special law, i.e. the Law "On Languages in Ukraine" that requires substantial update.
