The training was organized by the Local Authorities and Local Governments Liaison Office.
The participants of the training met the leaders of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate, surveyed the work of four secretariats of the parliamentary committees and five departments of the Secretariate.
Thus, secretaries of the city councils visited the Committees on Budget, on State Building and Local Self-Government, on Construction, Urban Development, Housing and Communal Services and Regional Policy, on Rules of Parliamentary Procedure, Ethics and Support to Work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The participants focused their attention on elaboration of the Bills that are scrutinized at the meetings of the Committees.
The participants of the training were informed about the activity of the Local Authorities and Local Governments Liaison Office, Central Organization Office, Personnel Office, Central Documents Provision Office, Supervision Office, Legislation Institute of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Parliamentary Publishing House, Editorial Office of journal "Viche".
The participants of the training took part in the sightseeing tour around the session hall of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
