The Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill on Amendments to Article 18 of the Law "On Land Assessment" (re Period of Normative Pecuniary Valuation) in its Entirety

Pursuant to the Bill (Reg. No.3016), normative pecuniary valuation of land of agricultural designation and settlements is to be held at least once in 5-7 years, of land on non-agricultural designation once in 7-10 years.

The Committee members are convinced that adoption of the Bill will create conditions for more effective use of lands by local authorities and local self-government.
