The Bill (Reg. No.3163) aims at establishment of a more democratic procedure for appointment of judges to the administrative positions and dismissal from them, which will secure independence of judges guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine. The Bill will facilitate elimination of constant pressure on the judicial power exerted by other branches of authorities.
Thus, the Bill introduces amendments to the Laws "On Judicial System of Ukraine" and "The Supreme Council of Justice", which establish the procedure, pursuant to which the resolution on appointment and dismissal of a head of court and deputy heads is adopted by the plenum of the Supreme Court of Ukraine.
